In my nurture sequence I have a video that I want to deliver that is critical that the contact views before I move them to the next step. Because I want to make sure they get the message, I use a text message, but unless I use a Trackable Link I can't tell if they clicked my link. So I use the Trackable Link to set a tag when the contact taps the link in my text message. Then I use that tag to trigger the goal that moves the contact to the next sequence in my campaign.

When someone gives me a business card I use the Infusionsoft app to import the card info and set a tag that kicks off a MMS with my vCard attached and a message that invites them to save my contact information to their phone for quick reference in the future. Because my vCard includes my photo or my business logo, next time I call or text my name and picture shows up making it easier for them to recongize me.
If I have a really important resource, be it a video or pdf or blog post, that I need them to view, I'll record a short video that I text them with my message and Trackable Link. The video is easy for them to view and my click thru on the link goes up!
When it's really important for a contact to feel connected to my team I have the text message include a photo of the team member that is sending the message so that there is greater connection and it feels more personal. It also makes it so I can send 1,600 characters in a single text.
A picture is worth a 1,000 words, so when I have a really good image that illustrates what I'm trying to communicate in my message I'll include it. My message stands out and I get a better response!
I created a saved search where my coaches could go in on a daily basis and see the new contacts on that list for the day. They can then select a short video greeting that contact with a personalized message and send it to them. This way my coaches have a personal touch with each of their new leads that come in.

Automated text message conversations allow prospects or customers to engage in an automated conversation where you can gather additional contact information to make it easier to better market your goods or services.

When I speak at events I include a keyword and phone number text message call to action. I make sure it's on my slides for at least 10 minutes and I walk the audience through what they will experience and what they will get and I give them a minute to text in. I usually get 90%+ of the room to text in and they end up providing their mobile phone number, email address and name. When they get to the email step of the conversation I use the tag that gets set on the contact to trigger automation that delivers the promised resource.
When I want to capture leads from socail media posts I'll include a keyword and phone number and simple instructions and I end up getting leads from my post. It's super powerful because the prospect doesn't have to click a link and leave the social network and it takes 2 seconds to set up. Compared to the webform it's so much easier and it gets a mobile phone number EVERYTIME!
Using specific keywords for available properites you are selling. Texting in would gather name and email then trigger a campaign that sends an email containing more information about the property.
I use keywords when attending events so that people can easily get a promo code for a future session.
I use QR codes in my brochures and on banners at events where I have a booth.
Live SMS Conversation
Live text message conversations allow you to communicate with your contacts with text messaging like you would with your friends or family. This is the most important texting feature FixYourFunnel offers.

At the end of an Automated Text Message Conversation I ask an open ended question that will initiate a potential sales conversation. The live text message chat kicks in when they answer and I can see the context of the automated conversation to understand what they are talking about. Plus I can handle several text message conversations at once, but only one phone call at a time. This is a huge leverage point.
Sent a text message broadcast to contacts who have opted into texting with a message that is a conversation starter. When the contact replies to that message, my team members are notified and pick up the conversation leading to setting an appointment to speak by phone or they end up calling right then.

I'm able to select a group of contacts using a saved search and send them a text message. I usually use this for getting out very important messages that I really need my contacts to view.
Sending a message to a group of contacts about an upcoming event they are interested in and provide a link to sign up for the event. Even use a trackable link for that page.
Sending a one-off text to multiple contacts using merge fields to make it feel personal.
Send a mass text to a group with common tags or interests to promote a service you offer they would be interested in. Could be used with with a trackable link to guage click/interest rate then those interested could be further entered into campaigns for further automation and nurture.
Hot List Notifications
Assign simple tasks to team members from campaigns that show up in the Integrated Dialer and phone apps. These tasks will push a notification to smart phones and watches and have the ability to apply a tag when marked as completed allowing for real world activites to be integrated into automated processes.

Notify a member of your team when an actionable item needs to be take care of by them (i.e. mailing a book). When they click the action complete button, a tag is applied which triggers the sequence to run the Date Difference Bot to track how long it takes the team member to fulfill the action for better tracking of team member action, and it triggers the next step in the campaign. Great way to tie real world actions into autmation sequences that are dependent on those real world actions.
Call contacts organized with saved searches inside Infusionsoft from your computer. Call from a saved search list, manually dial a number, or call off a unique search.

I generate leads that include phone numbers. I organize those leads into a saved search inside Infusionsoft, then have my sales team call from the list. Because FixYourFunnel's integrated dialer recognizes when a single team member begins engagement with a contact on the list, it removes that contact from the lists of other team members. So they call through the list until it's empty. The result is my sales process is much cleaner and effective.
Each business phone call has a few most likely outcomes. These outcomes can be connected to goals in your Infusionsoft campaigns, allowing for detailed automation to occur in response to phone call outcomes. This super charges out bound calls with Infusionsoft.

When my sales team calls leads there are a few possible outcomes, so I set those up in FixYourFunnel and associate a tag to each outcome. Then I use those tags in campaign builder to trigger outcome specific automation like advancing a call count with each voicemail outcome, or removing them from the list with a not interested outcome. I use call counts to modify the schedule of when a lead should be called again based on my call schedule. I also mix up the emails, text messages or even direct mail I send when I leave a voicemail to feel like it's being personally generated for them, but in realit my sales guy is just clicking the outcome button and moving on to the next call.

When you're calling a list of people, typically the reason for your call stays consistent. Pre-Recorded Voicemails allow you to record a voicemail message you intend to leave and with the click of a button leave that message, perfectly, every time. Saves time and insures consistent outcomes.

As I'm calling leads from a saved search using the Integrated Dialer, I don't need to leave a custom voice mail message each time I get voicemail, so I prerecord my message for when I get voicemail after working out a script with my marketing manager. Then when I get voicemail, I click the leave voicemail button, set the outcomes and move on to the next call. Such a time saver!

How Folks Are Using Pre-Call SMS
Before I start calling a list I'll send a pre call text message letting the contact know I'm going to be calling shortly. This dramatically increases my conversation rate because they either reply back letting me know the best time to call them, ask me not to call them at all, or simply answer when I do call because they recognize my number when I call. I usually send the first contact a text a few minutes before I begin calling and then I send the text for the next contact before I call the first one and then text a couple ahead each time so that I'm about 3-4 contacts ahead with text messages.

Allow customers to purchase an additional product, service or subscription with a single click, after they complete a purchase with an Infusionsoft order form.

I have two complementary products. When a customer buys the first product, I make the thank you page an offer page with the 2nd product. With a single click they can purchase it as well. This dramatically increases up sell conversion and the value of a customer, further offsetting my cost of getting a new customer.
Sometimes my products need to be used before a customer will want to take an up sell, so I email them a link back to my up sell page a couple weeks after the initial purchase and they can buy my up sell with a single click.
I send a text message with a Trackable Link to a special offer that I want to extend to a buyer a while after their purchase. This link connects with a one click up sell that complements the original purchase.

Adds time to a field in increments of seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months or years to a field and updates the contact record.
Affiliate Namer Bot
Saves the name of the current referring affiliate of a contact to a field in the contact record and applies a tag to indicate that the contact was or was not affiliated to a referral partner.

Auto Merge Bot
Automatically merge contacts that have the same email address following Infusionsoft's default merge rules.
Determine the average value of a field in contacts with a given tag and save it to the contact record.
Balance Due Bot
Determine the total due on existing invoices for a given time range on a contact record and save the value to the contact record. Optionally a tag may be applied if the value is greater than a target amount. (Balance due is displayed as a positive number)

Run a monthly action to determine any contacts with balance due and send a slack notification using the Slack Bot to notify a team member of a balance needing a resolution.
Use a dynamic billing process to merge in the amount owed by a contact into an email so they can know exactly how much they are behind on their bill. Great for companies with multiple price points on their subscriptions.
Big Spender Bot
Determine the total spent by a contact for a given time range and save the value to the contact record. Optionally a tag may be applied if the value is greater than a target amount.
How Folks Are Using Big Spender Bot
Use this bot for a promotion for all contacts who have spent a certain amount or more with your company. Send them a pump priming thank you or other promotional content.
Identifying big spenders and tag them, then use logic links to direct them to different sales pages than smaller spenders. This will allow you to make an offer more tailored to the value of a customer. For example, you may elect to bonus a big spender with a ticket to an event that you might normally charge a smaller customer to attend. Same process could be used for including an upgrade that smaller customers might need to pay for.
Use a monthly recurring action to identify and reward your most faithful customers with a card and brownies when they reach a certain spend amount with you. (Use SendOutCards to automatically mail it.)
Check Number Bot
Checks a phone number and country with the telephone carriers for that country to determine if the number is valid, and if it is, what type of number it is (i.e. mobile, landline, voip, etc.), and then will place the number into the proper Phone filed as indicated. This bot carries a per search cost of 1 cent per number checked. The bot will check all Phone fields on the contact record.

Check phone numbers as leads come in to sort the phone number by type. This allows you to know what options are available when you receive a phone number.
Checking phone numbers and formatting them to include full country code based on the contacts country.
Clean up your Infusionsoft database by moving your contacts' phone numbers to different phone fields based on what type of phone number it is. i.e. move mobile phone to Phone 1, land line numbers to Phone 2, etc.
Takes an initial value and will increment that value by one and save to the contact record. Optionally the count may be advanced by any number provided, positive or negative and a tag may be applied if greater than a target amount.

Tracking the number of call attempts made on a lead. Then move the lead to a different sequence based on how many calls have been attempted. This allows for customized and unique text messages or emails to go out after each call attempt. This increases the odds of connecting with a prospect.
Track the number of times a contact clicks on links in emails and/or text messages that you send them to help you identify who is most active on your list.
Date Difference Bot
Analyizes two dates provided and returns the difference between those two dates in the time increment indicated, saving that value to the contact record.

If I have a static deadline and want to track and countdown progress to that deadline I can save the difference to a field using the date difference bot so that I can prioritize action based on how far a contact is away from that date. (ex. closing date for a home)
Date Tag Bot
Creates if necessary and then applies a tag that corrosponds with the date in a field. Meaning if you want to tag a contact with the day of the week that they they bought, this bot will do it. If you want to tag with the month or year that some action happened, this will do it as well.
Divides the first value by the second as obtained from fields in the contact record and saves the result to the contact.
Division 2 Bot
Divides the first value by the second value provided and saves the result to the contact.
Identifies duplicate contact records by the phone fields. Infusionsoft already offers tools to identify duplicate contacts based off name and email and phone 1, but this uses all the phone fields to find duplicate contacts and tags and marks them for manual merging.
Friendly Date Bot
Convert Infusionsoft's machine friendly date format into a human friendly date format and save it to the contact.

When Infusionsoft saves a date it is formatted in a hard to read way. I'm able to convert the date to an easy to read format that is appropriate for my needs. For example, if I'm sending a reminder about an event this week, it's easier for the contact to recognize the day when I say, Remember your appointment Thursday. It also feels more personal which builds trust.

I first use the you are number bot to advance the count based on the number of contacts that took a particular action. Then when I have 100 contacts take that action I use the mass tagging bot to apply a tag to those contacts.

Copy a value from one field to another in the contact record.

When someone opts out of receiving emails, use the Move It Bot to copy their email address to Email 2 or 3 field before running an action set to clear the email field so that you can continue ot use the email address for syncing the contact to a custom audience and for identification purposes, but while making it easier to make sure you don't accidently try to email them again. This helps you get more accurate counts on who you can and can not email.

Name Splitter Bot
When a full name is saved to the First Name field, this bot will split the name and save the first name to the First Name field and the rest of the name to the Last Name field.

Sometimes people just ask for name and contacts put in first and last name into the name field and you end up with the full name merging in as the first name in emails and text messages. This bot splits the first name into first and last if there are more than two names in the field, then saves them to their proper place. Obviously the better route is to ask for both first and last, but this will fix that problem.
Note Pad Bot
Append a field value to the contact's note pad.

If you have a field value that is constantly changed (Such as a weekly update from clients that is captured through an Automated Text Message Converstion or Mobile Page) then you can move the field value to the notes for long term tracking of the contact's information.
Sometimes I want to reclaim fields I've used for survey answers, but I don't want to lose that data, so I'll move it to the note pad.

If I sell products in a shopping cart and want to have a beautiful receipt sent to them, I can use this and the last invoice bot to send over their order confirmation using a Campaign Builder email.
Item quantity isn't available for merging into emails or for decision diamonds, so I use this bot to give me the ability to recognize when someone buys more than one ticket so I can ask for details on the guest or guests.

Saves the total referrals generated by a contact to their contact record.

Not all affiliates or referral partners are the same. I like to reward and recognize my referral partners when they hit certain milestones. This bot allows me to check my referral partners and reward them when they are performing well. This positive reinforcement helps them to continue to refer happily!
Revenue Report Bot
Searches for all contacts who spent money in the past month and returns a count of customers who spent money, the average transaction size and total spent across all customers in that month.

The most important metrics have to do with revenue. This bot sends me a Slack notification via the Slack Bot once a month. I like it because I don't have to track down the information, it just shows up and as a result gives me a snap shot and reminds me to take a look at my Graphly.io reports.

I use the saved search count bot to notify my agents of how many contacts are in their lists at the beginning of each week and then again at the end of the week. This way they can see their progress and I can also get notified of how large certain lists are without having to go into Infusionsoft.

Send notifications of new leads and notify specific team members of the lead that is assigned to them.
When someone starts a purchase send a Slack notification of the purchase start, then another notification when the purchase is completed. Alternatively, I set up a timer that will trigger a notification to Slack if an unacceptable time has passed from when a prospect starts the sales process but doesn't finish the order. We use a two step ordering process to insure that we know who abandons the order process. The first step is a web form that asks for name, email and phone number. The thank you page of that web form is the order form. The information collected in the webform is prefilled into the order form.
Checks social networks for profiles associated with the email address provided and will save profile names, urls, images and more to the contract record.
How Folks Are Using Social Bot
When a new contact is added, I run the Social Bot to find out if they are on twitter and how many followers they have. I use the Division Bot to determine their follow to follower ratio. Then use Slack bot to report the profile link and follower and ratio numbers. This helps the team to know when an influencer has entered our pool so that they can pay particular attention to that contact.
I use the social network information I get from each contact to give me a better idea of where my leads are hanging out. This helps me to allocate marketing budget more appropriately.

Find the time between when a lead came in and when they bought so that you can know if your adjustments are improving your marketing dollar carry time.
Use this both with internal tasks to see how long it takes from the time a task is assigned to when it is completed and catch any processes that are slacking internally.

First use the Counter Bot to know the number of touches with a contact. Then when the trigger number of touches is reached use this bot to create a task for an agent to reach out to that user or perform an update to the contact record.
I use this bot to record important information that I want as a note for historical purposes. This may include moving information from fields to notes to free up the field for fields used on a recurring basis, i.e. NPS, feedback or comments.

Saves the average transaction value for a contact during a given time range to the contact record.

Sending a direct voicemail to a contact in sync with a text message and an email makes every sales rep look even better at trying to get ahold of someone before calling them. I use this method because my sales team haven't been consistent at getting a hold of a contact quickly.
I use direct voicemails to get out reminders about an upcoming event or appointment.
Incoming Call Handling
Not only does your FixYourFunnel phone number allow for text messaging, but it may be called. You can then direct the caller's experience in the way that fits your needs. Incoming callers are added to Infusionsoft, tags can be applied and recordings of calls maybe added to the contact record.

Because we use Slack we set up a calls channel and every time a call comes in it logs a message into the calls channel with the Infusionsoft contact id, the time they called, and their name. This allows us to make sure that calls don't slip through the cracks and everyone on the team can see if a call they were expecting came in. Before incoming calls were a black box. The only way to know who called was to go back and look at statements with the phone company.
Allows you to transfer to your office number during work hours, after hours you can have it direct your call straight to a voicemail integrated with Infusionsoft so that you can be notified of the voicemail.
Setting up your call handling with a call tree so that the contact can choose to speak to sales or support based on what option they choose. Then tag them based on what option they choose and follow up with the apropriate campaign. If the choose customer support we can automate a feedback survey text or email a couple hours after their call.
Creating a call group in the team members page and then using the incoming call handling to forward to all those agents at the same time. Because groups and team members can have custom hold music and voicemail, if no one is able to answer the caller can be directed to voicemail that is connected to Infusionsoft to insure that the team is made aware of the missed call and message.
Forward incoming calls to one or more phone numbers or to team members on the Integrated Dialer. When forwarding calls you can record the call for quality control and training purposes, apply tags to keep track of who took the call, set lead source and more.
Allow contacts to call in and listen to pre-recorded messages. Apply tags to indicate that the message was heard.

Mobile surveys allow you to gather data from contacts back into Infusionsoft with simple mobile friendly surveys designed to be as simple as possible to fill out for your contacts on their mobile phone. Apply tags as the contact progresses, apply tags that corrospond to their answers and save their answers directly into their contact record.

Easily get feedback from your customers about a product or service you offer. Then use the tags based on their answers to enter them in automation for better tailored nurture or offers.
Send to applicants that wish to work with you and allow the survey to pre-qualify or eliminate bad candidates before you speak with them. Also receive information pertinent to a conversation before you have it.
Send customers a survey as part of a pre-webinar sequence to identify needs of those in attendance to maximize the content of the webinar.
Send a survey to prospects and then based on the tags direct the prospect using logic links, to a sales page that is specific to their answers. The higher match to their situation will result in higher conversions.
Mobile pages allow you to create a simple webform that is tied to the trackable link sent in a text message. Unlike the mobile survey which is broken into steps, the mobile pages will display all the fields you need the contact to complete in a single page.

Facebook Custom Audiences are groups of Facebook users that you can target with Facebook ads. Fix Your Funnel Sync allows you to create these audiences with a tag. You select a tag and and a Facebook Custom Audience Name and then we do the magic. Within 5 minutes of adding a tag to a contact record in Infusionsoft, we've added that contact to a Facebook Custom Audience!

We all think of email as a medium that you can use to deliver a message. The downside is that it's tough to get folks to see and engage with your email. What if you could use a Facebook Ad as another medium to deliver the reasons that folks should do business with you? And what if you could control which message a Facebook user saw with Infusionsoft? That's exactly what we do in this use case. We coordinate the display of Facebook Ads with our nurture campaign by simply adding and removing tags through the course of the campaign. With those tags associated to Facebook Custom Audiences in Fix Your Funnel Sync, it's easy to set up. Then we create an ad set in Facebook that targets the Facebook Custom Audience and in that Facebook Ad Set we have a single ad. In our case we use a video view ad to deliver our message for that stage of the campaign. It's awesome!

Facebook Lead Ads are webforms that Facebook hosts IN their app and pre-populate with Facebook user contact information!
